Today my class and I had a bike lesson and we learnt a lot of new things from today's lesson. before we started we learnt the rules of riding a bike one of them were: when you put on your helmet the front should be 2 fingers away from your eyebrows. We had many more rules and we followed them to keep ourselves and others safe. Our coaches were Loni and Jason, Loni helped the ones that didn't know how to ride the bikes and Jason took the ones who already knew how to ride the bikes, I went with Jason because I already knew how to ride the bike.
During our lesson Jason taught us how to use signs on the road when your riding a bike, after we practised how to ride the bike with one hand and the other hand was putting out a sign to show which way we were going. When we got used to it we moved on to the next one. we learnt how to balance on the bike with a slow speed, it was also a game. If we touched the floor we were out and who ever was the slowest or came last won.
Something I found challenging was trying to stay balanced on a slow speed on the bike, I tried my best to stay on balance then I did it.
Something I enjoyed was when our coach challenged us to look over our shoulder when we were riding the bikes.
I feel ready and confident for tomorrow and I won't give up.
